Brave

Am I Blue? What is being blue you might be wondering? It is the short story Am I Blue? By Bruce Caville. Blue is everyone? Maybe, Maybe not. But does it matter? No. Being blue is being gay or says the book but who cares about that? Some people do and if your one of those peoples, this might offend you. But judging is wrong at least that’s what I’ve learned since I was born. I don’t think that its right to judge people you wouldn’t want to be judged would you?
WHOA, sorry I went totally off topic there.
In the story Vincent, the main character meets his fairy Godfather yes, I did say Godfather, not Godmother. Bravery is the only word I can use to describe this. Melvin, the fairy Godfather who is an angel you could say, when he went up to heaven he asked to be a fairy Godfather nothing else. Brave this courage is amazing! I don’t know what happens when you die but if you actually do go to the door of the “Pearly Gates” as Melvin describes in the story, I would be so scared to do that I mean go to heaven and be the first to ask to be a fairy Godfather. What if people judge you? Would you be embarrassed when people stare at you? Not for this guy I guess. I didn’t realize this before but this guy is one of my new hero’s he is Brave and Strong, these things are hard to work up among others. Other people are everywhere and even if it’s the smallest thing like a small hole in my sweater or the biggest thing in the world I get paranoid thinking that everyone will notice it when really no one even see’s it none the less care about it. Put this image in your head, you walk up the most important person to you in your life, and everyone else is wearing blue jeans and the same sweatshirt, then you come in wearing khakis and a T-Shirt. Everyone is staring at you, would you feel perfectly normal or would you feel just a little insecure? Think about it and reflect when you figure out your answer add a comment.
