I tend to wonder a lot about the “afterlife” like what happens etc…. In the book Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin elsewhere is a place beyond life, the afterlife. But it’s not what you expect the afterlife to be like, in elsewhere the afterlife is another world just like Earth you could say except everyone is dead and instead of growing you get a year younger every year since you were welcomed to elsewhere. People have always wondered, “Is there life beyond this one?”. Elsewhere explains it all plus adds a little curiosity to the mind to make it wonder even more.
Everyone and everything has a different side on the story of the afterlife and it’s up to you to pick your opinion. But reading elsewhere doesn’t exactly give you an opinion; it gives you ideas and thought provoking thoughts. But the book doesn’t shape your opinion. This is how Elsewhere is different, most books have at least one way that they try to shape a opinion on any subject.
Elsewhere gives you more than just ideas and opinions in your head it gives you and image of whatever you think the afterlife is to you. No opinions on what to think or feel. Write your opinions on the afterlife below.
The afterlife is an interesting belief, and it varies in different cultures and between different people. Elsewhere is a fascinating representation of the afterlife and I think that elsewhere is just as probable as any other afterlife beliefs.
