In your life out of all the the books you have read, while you were reading did you ever think about how the book related to your life? Did you ever think "everyone will read this diffrently but i see it like this because..."? Well, thats what I'm thinking about while im reading the book "Skinny" by "Ibi Kasilk".
This book is about two sisters that are sharing their feelings/emotions while Giselle, the 22 year old just got out of a rehad center for being anorex. Holly ,age 13, is dealing with her sister acting like a baby asking for whatever she wants when she wants it. So this made me think, how does this relate to me nd the world around me? Then I came up with this. In the moment you feel sorry for the person, but when its over, its over. Holly felt bad for her sister of course whe she was in the center, before she was there, and even a little after she was able to leave. But when she was home and was acting as if people still would do everything for her. That is when it ended.
This also made me think about how sisters relate to each other. This popped-up because I am an only child. Maybe to a person with a sister or maybe even a brother the fact that Holly isn't going with take care of Giselle while she acts like a baby when she's twenty-two. But the point is everyone reads and see's books diffrently.
